The pandemic became a major turning point in my life. I realised that everything I had worked for and believed in for decades was, in many ways, a lie.

As a bioethicist and legislative advisor, watching governments and international institutions mismanage the biggest global crisis of our time with such a level of ignorance was too much for me.

In 2022, I quit my job, moved to Paris, and began my solopreneur adventure.
Now I’m based in Barcelona, but as Virginia Woolf once wrote:
"As a woman, my country is the whole world."

To help women who are already exceptional and are tired of having to prove it twice.

why i am here

After arriving in Paris, I launched The Creative Advocate, a Substack publication that began as a space to think out loud.

One day I wrote a story about a 21st century Cinderella. A woman who had spent her career doing everything right and still found herself invisible, still passed over, still waiting for a system that was never going to come through for her.

Halfway through writing it, I realised I was writing about myself.

That moment became the beginning of Betina Cunado Consulting

I built my own solopreneur business from scratch, in a new city, in my fifties, without a manual.

Everything I learned, every mistake I made, and every decision that worked is what I bring to every woman I work with.
